Before
1940s CAPE COD CONVERSION TO
TWO-STORY COLONIAL (On the boards)
A young family purchased this small post-war brick cape cod house wished to expand the home for additional bedrooms and renovated kitchen for a growing family.
The classic early 20th century Dutch Colonial style was used as the model to create a full-height second floor with a new master bedroom en-suite and two additional bedrooms. A small ell additional will be added to the rear off the renovated kitchen for a sunroom. The second floor would be clad in natural white cedar shingles, and the existing garage door opening would be converted to the new entrance to a new mudroom.
